Season 2
Review
Daredevil is back with Season 2 and boy is it amazing ! We've a lot of characters in this including The Punisher and Electra. Season 2 is a lot grittier and action packed than Season 1. There's barely any episode where there are no action sequences.
In this season we can see Daredevil crossing paths with the deadly Frank Castle / Punisher along with the return of an old girlfriend–Elektra Natchios. It sets up a very good introduction to The Punisher. The series starts with Frank Castle already a vigilante, who kills bad people rather than bringing them to the law. Although it seems that the series focuses only on The Punisher, it has more to it than just the Punisher. There are quite a few other characters and each of them get their fair share of story.
Matt Murdock / Daredevil has a lot on his plate this time. He struggles to balance his life between Matt Murdock and being the Daredevil. We see a lot of ideology differences with pretty much everybody who knows Matt Murdock.
The action in this season is awesome. It is very well choreographed and shot. They have also paid homage to the hallway fight scene from season 1. This time it is more gritty, dark and realistic. Frank Castle / The Punisher stands out in this season than everybody else. Electra is also very good. We get to see a lot of action and also why the characters are so good at it.
Daredevil Season 2 is a good watch and I'd recommend this to anybody.
